Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venegas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mouse working for submissions but it's allowed Venegas to get to half guard.
Venegas is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

It looks like Jerry Mouse has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Venegas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mouse doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Venegas .

Venegas lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Mouse has his foot on Venegas 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Venegas works his way back into a safe position though.

Frankie Venegas opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
