The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomonaga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Costa with that takedown attempt.
Johan Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Tomonaga finds it's way through Costa's defenses.
Costa misses with an uppercut. Tomonaga saw that one coming.
It seemed like Tomonaga was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Costa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A nice side step and Tomonaga releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Tomonaga scores with a counter punch that sends Costa to the canvas! Tomonaga smells blood - he's punishing Costa with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Costa has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
