Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pee Wee Sasaki (ranked 297 p4p, 596 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 13 p4p, 31 weight class). Dux has chosen Bloodsport as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sasaki napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dux cracks Sasaki with a big right hand but Sasaki just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sasaki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dux tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Dux is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dux creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dux has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dux wants to control but Sasaki is keeping him busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dux creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sasaki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dux misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Sasaki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sasaki regains half guard, as Dux was trying to land strikes.
Dux looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Sasaki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dux.
Sasaki punishes Dux's body with a nice straight punch.
Dux fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sasaki avoids it really well and circles away.

Sasaki stuffs the takedown attempt from Dux. Dux gets slowly back to his feet.
Dux darts in looking for a takedown but Sasaki gets double underhooks and turns Dux into the cage.
Pee Wee Sasaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Dux.

and Sasaki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Dux shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sasaki but Sasaki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sasaki scores with a sloppy right hand. Dux should have avoided that one.
Dux steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sasaki.
Dux shoots for a takedown but Sasaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Sasaki misses the target.
Dux will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sasaki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dux shoots in for a double leg but Sasaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sasaki connects with a body shot that sends Dux's belly button to the back.
Dux misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Sasaki throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Dux is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
