Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb DeCoteau (ranked 3642 p4p, 3924 weight class) and Theodore Nouveau (ranked 123 p4p, 132 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nouveau takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Theodore Nouveau has been cut.

Nouveau closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

DeCoteau pushes Nouveau off and gets back to his feet.
Nouveau is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nouveau throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. DeCoteau tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nouveau is in DeCoteau's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nouveau looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks DeCoteau with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

DeCoteau lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
DeCoteau throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nouveau on the side of the head.
