Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Marty Robbins (ranked 3684 p4p, 1701 weight class) and Not Ponor (ranked 478 p4p, 245 weight class). Robbins comes to the ring accompanied by Marty Robbins - Big Iron. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Not Ponor!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Robbins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ponor scrambles back to his feet.
Robbins throws the left hand but Ponor avoids the punch easily.
Ponor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Robbins.
Ponor looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Robbins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ponor counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ponor gets tackled into the ropes by Robbins. Robbins maintains the clinch.
Ponor blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Robbins manages to break the clinch.
Robbins ducks under a wild hook from Ponor.
Robbins tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ponor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Robbins doesn't manage to clinch there - Ponor circles away.
Ponor looks like he wants to counter punch here.

It looks like Marty Robbins has been cut.

Robbins wants to land a leg kick but Ponor is out of range.
Ponor connects with a crisp jab.
Robbins's corner calls for a 1-2. Robbins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Robbins digs a good body shot into Ponor's ribs.
Ponor missing with a left hand there. Robbins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Robbins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ponor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ponor missing with a left hand there. Robbins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It seemed like Ponor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Robbins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ponor throws out the jab.
Ponor lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Robbins goes down! The ref sends Ponor to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Robbins is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
Robbins is rocked!
Robbins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Robbins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Robbins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ponor counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Robbins off his feet! Robbins crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Robbins isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Ponor screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Not Ponor!
Not Ponor seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
