Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Albatross!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryce Helix!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix avoids a punch combination nicely.
Helix scores with a nice body kick.
Bryce Helix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Albatross is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Helix throws an overhand right that lands on Albatross's shoulder, as Albatross tries to avoid the shot.
Albatross throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Helix sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Helix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Albatross throwing a counter right hand but Helix manages to avoid it.
Helix misses with a low kick.
A left lands for Helix.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Albatross uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Helix.
Helix swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Albatross.
Albatross stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Albatross wants it to stay on the feet.
Albatross has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Undisputed in the buildup to the fight.

Helix throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Albatross counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Bryce Helix has been cut.
Helix dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Albatross. That did some damage!

Helix has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Albatross misses with a jab, cross combination.

Helix follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Helix throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Albatross stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Helix moves into range and connects with a jab.
Albatross misses with an uppercut. Helix saw that one coming.
A countering left hand to the body from Helix misses.
Albatross takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Helix lands with a thumping leg kick.
Helix throws a low kick, looking for Albatross's leg but Albatross calmly moves out of range.
Helix throws a solid leg kick but Albatross takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Helix.

Helix takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Albatross throws a hook but Helix avoids it easily.
Helix swings widly with a right hand
and Albatross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Albatross throws a looping overhand right but Helix ducks down to avoid it.
Johnny Albatross is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Helix throws a front kick that sends Albatross stumbling back into the cage.
Helix looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
It looked like Albatross wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Helix misses with a hook
and Albatross counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Helix bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Albatross feints with a jab and clips Helix right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Helix is sent crashing into the canvas and Albatross leaps in for the kill! Helix tries to get to his feet but Albatross is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Helix is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Albatross!
