The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kohler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dankovich gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kohler to score an easy takedown into full guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kohler working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Dankovich wants to stand and escape but Kohler is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kohler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
