With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Donovan throws a counter combo.
Face takes one to the side of the head.
Face swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Donovan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Donovan, as that shot connected.

It looks like Puncher Face has been cut.
Donovan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Face looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Face doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Donovan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Donovan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Donovan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

enabling Face to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Dan Donovan has been cut.
Face defending well as Donovan loads up on a big left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Face ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Face is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Face lands with a nice combination. Donovan backs away looking to recover.

Donovan avoids the body shot from Face.
Dan Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face takes a swing at Donovan's ribcage but misses.
Donovan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Face.
Face pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Donovan back to the cage. Face follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Face throws the left hand but Donovan avoids the punch easily.

Face moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Donovan goes down! Can Face finish him!?
Donovan is still in real trouble! Can Face finish him?
Face will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Donovan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Face has passed into side control.
Donovan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Face presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Donovan seems to have recovered his senses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Donovan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Face stands up from mount. Strange move.
Face looks to score with a jab to the body but Donovan is just out of range.
Donovan misses with a hook

and Face lands a stunning uppercut that sends Donovan to the mat!
Face thows a huge punch but Donovan dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Face moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Donovan.

Face creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Donovan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Face sizes up Donovan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The cut above Dan Donovan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Face is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Face cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dan Donovan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Face is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Face sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Donovan's defenses. It connects perfectly with Donovan's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

In his post fight interview, Puncher Face started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
