Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis drops his hands momentarily and Doisneau takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Derrick Lewis has been cut.
Doisneau tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lewis felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Lewis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Doisneau is aware though and is defending well.
Doisneau slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Doisneau got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Doisneau has managed to get both his arms back between Lewis's legs - danger averted.

Lewis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doisneau doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doisneau manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lewis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Doisneau is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lewis.
