Nice takedown defense from Surf. No joy for Martinez on that attempt.

Martinez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Martinez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Martinez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Martinez stops Surf from standing up.

Martinez drops back looking for a leg! Surf is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Surf manages to kick Martinez off! Martinez jumps back into Surf's guard.
Surf is looking to stand up but Martinez isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martinez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Surf wants to stand up but Martinez is controlling him.

Martinez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Martinez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Surf screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Martinez! Nice submission victory there!
