Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunkechukwu Floyd (ranked 41 p4p, 60 weight class) and LaTroy Johnson (ranked 2 p4p, 3 weight class). Floyd kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, LaTroy Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd slips under a jab.
Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Floyd's head backwards.
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fighters circling - Floyd throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Floyd.
Johnson scores with a shot to the body.

Johnson jabs Floyd to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Donk. Johnson catches Floyd right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Bunkechukwu Floyd has been cut.
Johnson misses with a left hand
and Floyd counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Floyd's head but Floyd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Johnson lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Floyd head around and knocks him out cold! Johnson hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). LaTroy Johnson!

After the fight, LaTroy Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
