Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Imanari (ranked 264 p4p, 1835 weight class) and Jean Luc Petit (ranked 11 p4p, 101 weight class). Imanari comes to the cage accompanied by εη°ε

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Imanari's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

My spies in Hammer House of Horror inform me that Petit has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Imanari has his foot on Petit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Petit works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Imanari drops back looking for a leg! Petit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Petit manages to kick Imanari off! Imanari jumps back into Petit's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Imanari stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jean Luc Petit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Petit winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
