Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn The General!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The General looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but The General persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps The General's head backwards.
It looks like Shawn The General has been cut.
The General shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson throws an overhand right that drops The General like a sack of potatoes! Johnson dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Johnson!
In his post fight interview, Jason Johnson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
