Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Fregits (ranked 5408 p4p, 5601 weight class) and Louis Tinny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Samuel Fregits has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Samuel Fregits seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samuel Fregits!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Louis Tinny!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fregits tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tinny manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tinny throws a body punch but Fregits moves out of range.
Fregits shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tinny counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tinny.
Fregits tries to circle away but Tinny has him pinned against the cage.
Fregits fails to pull guard.
Fregits jumps guard but Tinny turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Fregits. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tinny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tinny has closed the distance and engaged Fregits in a clinch.

Tinny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tinny has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tinny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fregits tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tinny swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fregits has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Fregits chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tinny can pounce on him.

Tinny has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fregits's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Tinny with that takedown attempt.
Fregits takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Fregits gets tackled into the cage by Tinny. Tinny maintains the clinch.

Tinny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fregits throws a good cross that connects.
Tinny looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fregits misses with a takedown attempt

and Tinny holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fregits is looking to take this one to the mat.
Tinny is pushing Fregits up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tinny takes a shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tinny taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Tinny breaks from the clinch.

Tinny rushes Fregits and presses him up against the cage.
Tinny lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fregits is pressed up against the cage. Tinny has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fregits down to the mat. Fregits avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tinny dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fregits keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fregits fails in his attempt to clinch.

Tinny gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tinny digs a right hand underneath Fregits's ribcage. Fregits let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Tinny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tinny clinches up against the cage.
Tinny should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fregits jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tinny walks away with a smile on his face. Fregits gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fregits takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fregits is breathing heavily.
Tinny scores with a jab to the body.
Fregits takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Tinny moves into the clinch successfully.

Tinny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tinny has Fregits up against the cage in a clinch.

Tinny breaks the clinch.

Tinny gets a takedown into half guard.
Fregits tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Tinny manages to move to mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tinny postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fregits looks a forlorn figure.

Tinny gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Tinny rushes Fregits and presses him up against the cage.

Tinny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tinny throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tinny bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tinny scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Samuel Fregits has been cut.

Tinny gets a clinch.

Tinny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Louis Tinny dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Samuel Fregits's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Tinny goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tinny goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Fregits stumbles back but Tinny runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Fregits to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Fregits will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Louis Tinny!
The defeated Samuel Fregits had this to say: 'me pongo triste'.
