Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Silva (ranked 567 p4p, 691 weight class) and Peter Smart (ranked 86 p4p, 103 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Smart!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silva enables Smart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Smart lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Silva quite badly. Silva pulls Smart in close trying to recover. Smart postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Silva on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Silva doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
