The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Qarase tries to keep at a distance but Dangerfield has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dangerfield tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dangerfield tries for a takedown but Qarase manages to get underhooks.

A right hook to the body lands for Qarase.

Qarase felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
