This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Mike Marsh! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tony Xi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Marsh shoots in looking for a takedown. Xi tries to sprawl out of it but Marsh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Xi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Xi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Xi has control of Marsh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marsh regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Xi wants to finish this one by submission but Marsh is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Xi.
