Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Martinez (ranked 4586 p4p, 24345 weight class) and Night Zono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, laguna vieja. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zono closes the distance and clinches.
Zono misses with an elbow over the top.
Zono lands with a right to the head.
Zono is pressed up against the cage. Martinez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zono down to the mat. Zono avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Martinez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Zono takes the fight into the clinch.
Martinez tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Zono avoids it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zono creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zono just misses with a elbow thrown towards Martinez's brow.
Zono lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Zono lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Martinez is breathing heavily.

Martinez works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Zono manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Zono lands a big right hand that sends Martinez crashing to the mat! Zono stays standing though and waves Martinez back to his feet!

It looks like Gabriel Martinez has been cut.
