Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Test Fighter (ranked 3254 p4p, 4677 weight class) and Johnny Nevercum (ranked 405 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Test Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Nevercum!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevercum stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Fighter throws a right and a left that Nevercum avoids nicely.
Nevercum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fighter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nevercum gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nevercum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fighter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nevercum tries to pull guard but Fighter forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Test Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Nevercum.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nevercum lands with a short shot to the head.
Nevercum is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Nevercum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nevercum throws a combination that misses
and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nevercum won't be happy with that.
Nevercum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fighter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fighter misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Fighter is staying tight to Nevercum's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Fighter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nevercum is trying to control Fighter's posture but Fighter avoids it.
The referee asks Fighter politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fighter prefers to stall for the moment though.

Fighter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nevercum has escaped the position, nice work there.
Nevercum is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fighter wants to stand but Nevercum is controlling his arm.

Fighter decides to stand back up.
Fighter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nevercum pinned against the cage. Nevercum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nevercum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nevercum somewhat.
Nevercum takes a swing at Fighter's ribcage but misses.
Fighter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Fighter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fighter is looking to stand back up but Nevercum counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fighter.
Fighter has his hands clasped together around Nevercum's back. He's all about the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nevercum stalling.
Fighter is pressing down on Nevercum's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fighter thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nevercum is one step ahead there.
Fighter looking for a triangle here. Nevercum is fighting it but it looks tight! Fighter pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Nevercum is tapping out - this one is all over!

A pretty intense looking Test Fighter took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
