The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stronk misses the jab.
Boytsov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Stronk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stronk is looking to counter punch.

Stronk moves into range and clinches up with Boytsov.
I was talking to Stronk's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Stronk gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boytsov.

Stronk swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stronk misses with a short punch on the inside.
Boytsov is working for takedown but Stronk is calmly controlling the position for now.

Stronk seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Boytsov is trying to drag Stronk to the mat but Stronk just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Stronk pushes Boytsov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Boytsov jumps guard but Stronk turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Boytsov goes for a takedown attempt but Stronk pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Stronk throws a big shot that misses.
Boytsov swats away the attempt to clinch by Stronk.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Boytsov! But no joy.

Boytsov is looking for a triangle but Stronk pushes his legs off easily.

Stronk is posturing up here but Boytsov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Stronk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Stronk has to tap! Slick submission there by Boytsov!
