Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Salaam (ranked 3878 p4p, 1795 weight class) and Danyaal Zahedi (ranked 471 p4p, 258 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Danyaal Zahedi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danyaal Zahedi!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zahedi.
Salaam throws the left hand but Zahedi avoids the punch easily.
Zahedi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Zahedi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zahedi rushes Salaam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Salaam has a couple of punches blocked by Zahedi.
Salaam lands with a right to the head.
Zahedi breaks the clinch.
Zahedi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Andre Salaam has been cut.
BOOM! Zahedi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Salaam. Salaam tries to recover but Zahedi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Salaam lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danyaal Zahedi!
