Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White doesn't manage to clinch there - Matata circles away.
White shoots in for a double leg but Matata sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
White misses with a few strikes there.
Matata gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Matata fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matata is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Matata has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing White to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Matata is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - White pulls down on the head and he's put Matata to sleep! This one is all over!
