Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Thomas (ranked 916 p4p, 817 weight class) and Choctaw Bloode (ranked 127 p4p, 115 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thomas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to LUNIZ -- I GOT 5 ON IT. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Choctaw Bloode!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloode throws a body shot but no joy.
Bloode lets loose with a powerful body kick. Thomas will feel that in the morning.
Bloode dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thomas. That did some damage!
Thomas tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Bloode.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bloode.
Bloode thows a body kick. Thomas tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Bloode does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

It looked like Thomas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bloode throws a sloppy head kick
and Bloode takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thomas throws a shot from downtown. Bloode moves away and avoids it.

and Thomas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bloode thinking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Thomas tries to land a front kick but Bloode steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bloode lands a leg kick that knocks Thomas off balance momentarily.

Choctaw Bloode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bloode bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thomas's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bloode walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thomas checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
As Bloode looks to move away, Thomas throws a big counter combo but Bloode just gets out of the way.
Crunch! Bloode slams his shin into Thomas's torso.
Thomas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bloode connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thomas scrambles back to his feet.
Bloode finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Thomas takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Choctaw Bloode comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bloode has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
