Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guy Kibaki (ranked 2908 p4p, 3473 weight class) and Willie Dustice (ranked 331 p4p, 384 weight class). Kibaki comes to the cage accompanied by Tandava (Somnia Remix) by Shanti People. Guy Kibaki had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Guy Kibaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Willie Dustice!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kibaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kibaki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dustice doesn't seem bothered though.
Kibaki digs a good hook to Dustice's body.
Kibaki throws a series of punches but Dustice moves out of range.
Good exchange - Kibaki coming out on top.
Dustice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kibaki instigates a clinch.

Kibaki gets through Dustice's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kibaki tries a body shot but Dustice blocks it.
Dustice misses with some punches.
Dustice takes a shot to the head.
Kibaki tries to throw a body punch but Dustice avoids it by throwing Kibaki back against the cage.

Dustice connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kibaki's face.
Kibaki lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Dustice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kibaki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dustice on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dustice takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dustice takes a swing at Kibaki's ribcage but misses.
Kibaki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kibaki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dustice momentarily.
Dustice misses with a series of wild punches.
Kibaki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dustice backs up against the cage.
Dustice gets tackled into the cage by Kibaki. Kibaki maintains the clinch.
Kibaki goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kibaki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dustice wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kibaki lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dustice or not.
Dustice's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A bit of stalling here from Kibaki.
Dustice lands a hook that snaps the head of Kibaki backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Kibaki scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dustice working aggressively here.
Kibaki is working Dustice over against the cage.
Dustice pulls Kibaki into guard.
Kibaki has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Kibaki gets to his feet - Dustice follows without any prompting.
Guy Kibaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dustice gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Dustice tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kibaki is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Dustice buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Dustice!! Dustice is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kibaki throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guy Kibaki!
Guy Kibaki was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
