The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nastula dives in and scores a takedown into Cooke's guard.
Nastula trying to control but Cooke is working from the bottom.
Nastula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cooke on the ground.
Nastula wants to pass the guard but Cooke is keeping the position.
Cooke scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Cooke looking for a sweep. Not yet Cooke, not yet.
Cooke lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cooke is trying to work for a kimura but Nastula is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nastula is looking for a sweep. Cooke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Cooke has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nastula defend it? Cooke steps over the head and cranks it - Nastula is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cooke!
