Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Sparxx (ranked 112 p4p, 126 weight class) and Beau Abner (ranked 18 p4p, 23 weight class). Sparxx comes into the arena with American Psycho- The Misfits blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Sparxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Beau Abner!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Abner blocks the low kick.
Beau Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sparxx on the side of the head.
A jab from Abner misses.
Sparxx is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Sparxx walks into a left hand.
Sparxx lands with a nice body punch.
Abner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sparxx looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sparxx throws a looping overhand right but Abner ducks down to avoid it.
Sparxx thows a leg kick but Abner checks it
and Abner counters with a nice right hand that sends Sparxx toppling to the canvas! Sparxx scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Abner finish him?!

It looks like Gary Sparxx has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abner cracks Sparxx with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sparxx to stand back up!
Oh Sparxx is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Abner tries to score with a low kick but Sparxx moves his leg out of the way.
Sparxx is looking to counter punch.

Abner closes the distance and clinches.

Abner lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Sparxx lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Abner or not.

Sparxx has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sparxx lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Beau Abner has been cut.
Abner cracks Sparxx with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sparxx to stand back up!
Sparxx throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Abner sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sparxx walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Abner! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Beau Abner!
Beau Abner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Gary Sparxx stepped up to the mic, saying 'Give me a couple hours, and I will meet you all at the dance floor!'.
