Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lesley Dancer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mancha Aisland!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aisland uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dancer.

Aisland shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aisland was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dancer tries to escape but Aisland is in control.
Dancer is not content to let Aisland control the position.
Aisland looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dancer wants to get back to his feet but Aisland drags him back down.
Aisland is staying tight to Dancer's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Aisland working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Aisland is trying to get an arm triangle but Dancer is defending well.

Aisland throws an elbow but Dancer slips to the side and avoids it well.

Dancer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aisland on the ground.

Aisland creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dancer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Dancer dodges the ground and pound from Aisland.

Aisland tries for a kimura but Dancer is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aisland is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dancer has escaped the position, nice work there.

A lull in the action here as Aisland stalls from top position.

Aisland is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dancer is trying to escape and Aisland transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dancer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Aisland! Very nice indeed!

Mancha Aisland decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
