Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonzar Kennedy (ranked 812 p4p, 762 weight class) and Crixus The Gaul (ranked 116 p4p, 109 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Gaul walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kennedy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The Gaul tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kennedy was well out of range. Poor timing from The Gaul.
Kennedy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kennedy scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Kennedy quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

The Gaul chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kennedy can pounce on him.

The Gaul is rocked!
Kennedy cracks The Gaul with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends The Gaul tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kennedy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! The Gaul is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonzar Kennedy!
