Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Uwot Meight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamaal Albashir!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Meight fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Albashir looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Albashir lands a leg kick that knocks Meight off balance momentarily.
Meight on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Albashir. Albashir obviously looking to wear him down.
Albashir motions for Meight to come forward. Albashir throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Albashir misses with a looping left.
Albashir missing with a left hand there. Meight was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Meight swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Albashir has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Albashir there as he acknowledges the shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Albashir.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Albashir misses with a straight left.
Meight misses with a wild combination.
Albashir is trying to counter with his kicks.
Albashir has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Meight jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Meight misses with a body punch
and Albashir counters with a stiff right hand.
Albashir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Meight is looking to counter punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Albashir takes a jab right on the kisser.
Albashir gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Meight.
Meight missing with a left hand there. Albashir was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Albashir digs a good body shot into Meight's ribs.
Meight takes one to the chin there.
Albashir dips to his left and cracks Meight with an uppercut!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jamaal Albashir dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Albashir throws a half hearted mid kick.
Meight throws a lazy right hand but Albashir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Meight might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Albashir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Albashir misses with a double jab.

A shot to the liver by Meight. Beautiful body shot.
Meight swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That kick from Albashir tenderised Meight's leg. Meight is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice uppercut lands for Meight. That snapped Albashir's head back.
Meight catches Albashir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Albashir is rocked!
Meight shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Albashir takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Meight sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Albashir bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Uwot Meight!
