The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Danilo Mendes has been cut.
Mendes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Luciano circles away.
Luciano seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Luciano lands a big uppercut and Mendes crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mendes looks OK. Luciano waves Mendes back to his feet!

Mendes is rocked!
Luciano cracks Mendes's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Mendes slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Luciano can do further damage! This one is done, son!
