Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Takashi (ranked 26 p4p, 1325 weight class) and Magnus Goddard (ranked 5 p4p, 145 weight class). Takashi comes into the arena with 吉田兄弟 Rising blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazuo Takashi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Magnus Goddard!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takashi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Goddard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Takashi counters by moving into the clinch.

Takashi has picked Goddard up - he's going for a ride! Takashi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Goddard misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Takashi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Goddard shoots in for a takedown but Takashi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Takashi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Takashi manages to end up in side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Goddard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takashi is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Takashi has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Goddard is defending well but eventually Takashi manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Goddard has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kazuo Takashi!

Kazuo Takashi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
