Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Vasiliev (ranked 4813 p4p, 3069 weight class) and King Turn (ranked 531 p4p, 376 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Timur Vasiliev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, King Turn !
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasiliev clinches up against the cage.
Turn looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Vasiliev breaks the clinch.

Vasiliev closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Turn working aggressively here.
Turn can't get the takedown.
Turn misses with a knee to the head.

Vasiliev jumps guard and drags Turn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Turn told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Turn drops back looking for a leg! Vasiliev is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vasiliev manages to kick Turn off! Turn jumps back into Vasiliev's guard.

Turn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Turn tries to keep at a distance but Vasiliev has taken the fight into the clinch.

Turn wants to take the fight to the mat but Vasiliev manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Turn gets tackled into the cage by Vasiliev. Vasiliev maintains the clinch.
Turn is working for takedown but Vasiliev is calmly controlling the position for now.
Timur Vasiliev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Turn .

Turn throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Timur Vasiliev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vasiliev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vasiliev tries to get out of the position.

Vasiliev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

King Turn has got the better of the ground game so far.

Vasiliev is trying to maintain the position but Turn is very close to passing his half guard.

Turn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vasiliev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Vasiliev is looking to control Turn 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vasiliev avoid being mounted?
Turn wants to take a breather but Vasiliev is having none of it.

Turn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Turn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Turn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Turn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vasiliev is just riding it out for now. Turn eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turn connects with a nice short shot to Vasiliev's temple.

King Turn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Turn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vasiliev pinned against the cage. Vasiliev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Turn misses with a knee to the head.

Vasiliev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vasiliev tries to clinch but Turn moves out of range.

Turn looks to throw the jab but Vasiliev is out of range.

Vasiliev drives through and clinches with Turn against the cage.
Vasiliev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Turn after a bit of a struggle.
Turn missing with knees to the body.
Vasiliev tries to score a body lock takedown but Turn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Turn working aggressively here.
Vasiliev tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turn smiles and moves away.

Vasiliev pushes Turn up against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Vasiliev.
Turn misses with a knee to the head.
Vasiliev avoiding damage.

Vasiliev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Turn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vasiliev's guard.
Vasiliev is pulling down on Turn 's head to control his posture.
Vasiliev tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Turn trying to control the position from guard on top but Vasiliev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turn lands a couple of digs.
Turn preventing the sweep.
Turn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vasiliev's guard.

Turn is trying to control. Vasiliev wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Turn is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vasiliev sees it coming and defends easily.
King Turn is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vasiliev is refusing to be controlled, as Turn sits in half guard.
Vasiliev tries to roll over but Turn keeps him under control.
Vasiliev is staying active underneath Turn , who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Timur Vasiliev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to King Turn .
I've got Turn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
