Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Sefa - God's Plan. Kuti has chosen Expensive Shit as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fela Kuti!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuti misses with a hook.
Kuti missing with a left hand there. Kersikov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kuti lands a glancing blow to the side of Kersikov's head.
Kuti dips to his left and cracks Kersikov with an uppercut!
Kuti takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kuti with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kersikov to score with a decent uppercut.
Kersikov throws a front kick aimed at Kuti's knee but Kuti avoids it well.
Kuti misses with a hook
and Kersikov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kersikov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kuti.
Kuti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kersikov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kersikov quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kuti misses with a hook.
Kuti looks to throw the jab but Kersikov is out of range.
Kersikov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kuti.
Kersikov tries to move into range but Kuti moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kersikov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Kersikov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kuti scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kuti scores with a shot to the body.
Kersikov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kuti throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kersikov is looking to counter punch.
Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kuti.
Kuti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A shot to the body from Kuti misses
and Kersikov counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kuti connects with a nice looking jab.
Kuti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Kuti misses the target.
Kersikov half committed to a counter leg kick.

Kersikov lands a big head kick that sends Kuti tumbling to the mat! Kersikov takes a step backwards and waves Kuti back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kuti is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kuti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kuti is still on wobbly legs! Can Kersikov finish him?

Kersikov pounces like a tiger and cracks Kuti with a vicious hook! Kuti is down but not out! Kersikov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Boyko Kersikov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
