The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tomonaga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mouse avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tomonaga stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mouse takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mouse fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tomonaga looks to land a left hand but Mouse moved out of range nicely.
And Mouse tries to counter it with a takedown but Tomonaga pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mouse ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

It looks like Jerry Mouse has been cut.

Tomonaga takes a swing at Mouse's ribcage but misses.
Mouse tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mouse moves out of range as Tomonaga strikes.
Tomonaga fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mouse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tomonaga looks to land a right hand but Mouse moved out of range.
Mouse changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Tomonaga loads up on a big right hand but Mouse slips the punch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mouse.
Tomonaga misses with a hook. Mouse ducked under it nicely.

Tomonaga has managed to clinch.
Tomonaga prevents the takedown attempt.
Tomonaga tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Tomonaga manages to break the clinch.

Tomonaga moves into the clinch successfully.

Tomonaga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shinichiro Tomonaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Tomonaga throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mouse drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tomonaga defends it well.
Mouse has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tomonaga lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mouse or not.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tomonaga creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mouse is rocked!
Tomonaga creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mouse with a big uppercut! Mouse tries to clinch up but Tomonaga pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mouse to the mat! Mouse covers up and Tomonaga unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
