The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tracks throws a nice looking combination but Sterling bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sterling shoots in for a takedown but Tracks shows good takedown defense.
Sterling shoots in but Tracks avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tracks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sterling shoots in looking for a takedown but Tracks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sterling's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tracks tried to counter with a leg kick but Sterling avoided it.
Sterling has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tracks manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Sterling has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tracks defend it? Sterling steps over the head and cranks it - Tracks is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sterling!
