The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brooks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wheeler looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A big left from Wheeler misses.
Brooks tries to counter by clinching up but Wheeler breaks away and moves out of range.
Wheeler lands a right hook to the body.
Brooks misses with the combination.
Wheeler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brooks's hands.

It looks like Stewie Brooks has been cut.
Brooks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Brooks misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wheeler lands with a kick to the ribs.
Brooks looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brooks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Wheeler is looking to land body kicks.
It looked like Brooks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Wheeler misses its intended target.
Brooks seems to have got his legs back now.
Wheeler lands a nice hook to Brooks's body. Brooks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Brooks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wheeler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wheeler lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brooks at a distance.
Brooks avoids the head kick by Wheeler.
Brooks tries to counter by clinching up but Wheeler breaks away and moves out of range.
The fighters circle, before Wheeler throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Brooks's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Wheeler lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
