Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manuel Silva!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to keep at a distance but Poli has taken the fight into the clinch.

That kick from Poli tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Silva working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Poli manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Poli is able to avoid easily.

Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Poli tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Poli's guard.
Poli is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Silva dives into side control.
