Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Dado Mata (ranked 2522 p4p, 4538 weight class) and Guy Leblond (ranked 261 p4p, 385 weight class). Mata comes to the ring accompanied by 和楽器バンド / 千本桜. Guy Leblond will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dado Mata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Guy Leblond!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mata.
Mata throws a body kick that misses
letting Leblond counter with a right hand.
Mata throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mata waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Leblond.
Mata throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Leblond counters with a slapping leg kick.

Leblond has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mata misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Leblond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leblond blocks a head kick by Mata.
Mata tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leblond was well out of range. Poor timing from Mata.
Leblond throws a counter combo.
Mata misses with a body punch
and Mata takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mata lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Leblond has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Leblond and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dado Mata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leblond clinches up against the ropes.

Leblond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mata misses with a body kick.
Mata misses the jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mata throws a head kick that misses.
Mata throws a body shot but no joy.
Mata looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Leblond fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mata, pushing him back against the ropes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mata.
Mata misses with a short punch on the inside.

Leblond breaks the clinch.
Leblond takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A head kick misses from Mata.
Mata swings for the body but Leblond moves out of range.
Mata missing with a left hand there. Leblond was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Leblond moves into range and clinches up with Mata.
Leblond prevents a body shot from Mata.
Leblond blocking some punches.
Mata working aggressively here.

Leblond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mata misses with an uppercut
and Leblond counters with a left and a right that stings Mata.
Mata fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leblond manages to avoid it.
Mata throws a right hand that misses
and Leblond counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Leblond lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mata circles away quickly and effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mata throws a body punch but Leblond moves out of range.
Mata misses with an uppercut
and Leblond cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Leblond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mata.
Mata misses with a lunging right hand
and Leblond counters with a three punch combo that has Mata backing up. Mata nods at Leblond to acknowledge the strikes.

Mata is rocked!
Mata throws an off balance right hand
and Leblond makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Oh Mata is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Leblond moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Mata! Leblond continues to tee off on Mata, landing with a left and a right! Leblond connects with a right hand that leaves Mata sleeping against the ropes! What a finish by Leblond!
