Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 3091 p4p, 3509 weight class) and Chief Walker (ranked 387 p4p, 425 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yoji Anjo Anjo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anjo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Anjo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walker defends it nicely.
Walker throws a looping overhand right but Anjo ducks down to avoid it.
Walker throws a hook but Anjo avoids it easily.

Walker clinches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Walker.
Anjo can't break the clinch.
Walker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Walker has a couple of punches blocked by Anjo.
Anjo has had enough of the clinch but Walker keeps him there for the moment.
Walker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anjo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anjo slips under a jab.

Anjo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walker was covering up waiting for the punch and Anjo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Anjo wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position.

Anjo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Walker is looking to stand up but Anjo isn't so interested in that idea.
Anjo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Anjo wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position.

Walker manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Walker misses with a short punch on the inside.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Anjo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Anjo backwards.

Anjo jumps guard.

Walker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Anjo shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Walker gets caught napping as Anjo dives in and scores a takedown. Walker manages to retain guard.

Walker has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Anjo has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Walker has a couple of punches blocked by Anjo.
Anjo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walker prevents the takedown attempt.

Anjo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Walker regains guard.

Walker wriggles free and stands up.

Anjo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Anjo backwards.
Anjo jumps guard but Walker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Anjo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Anjo tries to stall but Walker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Walker swings wildly with an uppercut but Anjo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Walker blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anjo wants to get back to striking at distance but Walker won't allow it.
Walker lands a right hand that snaps the head of Anjo backwards.
Walker lands with a short shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Walker throws a head punch that misses.
Walker misses with a hook from the clinch.
Anjo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Chief Walker dominated that round.

Anjo moves out of range as Walker strikes.
It looked like Anjo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Chief Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anjo moves away from the strike by Walker.
Walker misses with a low kick as Anjo jumps back.
Nice sprawl there from Walker as Anjo shoots in.
Anjo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes.
Anjo closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Anjo pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoji Anjo Anjo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch lands to the side of Anjo 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Yoji Anjo Anjo has been cut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Walker.
Yoji Anjo Anjo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Anjo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
Walker rushes Anjo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Anjo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Walker piles on the pressure and Anjo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
