Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Hedegaard (ranked 922 p4p, 881 weight class) and Vern Schullacks (ranked 138 p4p, 127 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Hedegaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vern Schullacks!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schullacks cracks Hedegaard with a right hand to the side of the head.
Schullacks slaps away a takedown attempt from Hedegaard, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Schullacks connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hedegaard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schullacks manages to avoid it.
Hedegaard walks into a straight right hand from Schullacks.
Hedegaard moves out of range of the strikes.
Hedegaard lands a jab-cross combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schullacks. Hedegaard does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hedegaard attempts a counter takedown but Schullacks avoids it well and moves away.
Schullacks stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circling - Schullacks throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hedegaard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hedegaard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Schullacks is adopting a defensive guard.
We've been hearing that Hedegaard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schullacks is continuing to stall.
Hedegaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hedegaard won't allow Schullacks to sweep him here.
Hedegaard wants to control from the top but Schullacks keeps moving.
Hedegaard is really struggling to control Schullacks but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Schullacks seems keen to control Hedegaard's posture.
Hedegaard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schullacks is keeping the position for now.
Schullacks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hedegaard thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Schullacks is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hedegaard frees his head nicely. Oh but Schullacks has switched to an armbar! Hedegaard is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
