And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oliver Smith!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a big right hand that sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Smith stays standing though and waves Gracie back to his feet!
It looks like Chuck Gracie has been cut.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Smith.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Some wild striking there from Smith.
Smith cracks Gracie's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Gracie slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Smith can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oliver Smith!
A very excited looking Oliver Smith made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
