Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 4395 p4p, 5209 weight class) and Carl Johnson (ranked 526 p4p, 590 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dover is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dover tries a low kick but Johnson avoids it.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ben Dover will probably get the nod.

Dover feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dover finish him?!
