Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Drugger (ranked 3315 p4p, 3576 weight class) and Uladzimir Prokopenko (ranked 424 p4p, 451 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abel Drugger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uladzimir Prokopenko!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drugger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Prokopenko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Prokopenko tries to clinch but Drugger moves away
and Drugger counters with a straight right hand.
Drugger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Drugger tries to clinch but Prokopenko moves out of range.
Prokopenko darts in looking for a takedown but Drugger gets double underhooks and turns Prokopenko into the cage.
Drugger appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Prokopenko wants to clinch up but Drugger keeps it at a distance.
Drugger fails to land with a series of punches.
Prokopenko shoots in but Drugger avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drugger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prokopenko moves into the clinch.
Prokopenko prevents a body shot from Drugger.

Drugger goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch on the inside from Drugger fails to land.
Drugger throws a punch but it's blocked by Prokopenko.
Drugger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Drugger swings wildly with an uppercut but Prokopenko uses good head movement to avoid it.

Prokopenko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Drugger to keep the fight standing.
Abel Drugger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uladzimir Prokopenko.

Drugger manages to break the clinch.
Prokopenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Prokopenko darts in and clinches Drugger up against the cage.
Drugger is looking to control Prokopenko's arms but Prokopenko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Drugger has his back to the cage.

Prokopenko drags the fight down to the ground.

Drugger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drugger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Drugger wants to pass the guard but Prokopenko is keeping the position.
Drugger postures up.

Drugger has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Prokopenko throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Drugger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Drugger pushing down on Prokopenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Drugger trying to mount his opponent but Prokopenko defends it.
Prokopenko manages to get to full guard.
Drugger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prokopenko on the ground.

Drugger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Prokopenko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Prokopenko keeping moving, preventing Drugger from controlling successfully.
We've been informed that Prokopenko has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Drugger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Prokopenko will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Drugger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Drugger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prokopenko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Prokopenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Prokopenko changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Prokopenko misses with a body punch
letting Drugger counter with a right hand.
Drugger seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Prokopenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Prokopenko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Abel Drugger dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Prokopenko tries to clinch there but Drugger circles away.
Prokopenko fails in his attempt to clinch.

Drugger drops Prokopenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Prokopenko looks back up at him and smiles so Drugger waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Prokopenko misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Drugger was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Prokopenko.
Drugger wants to clinch up but Prokopenko keeps it at a distance.
Prokopenko feints the counter takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Drugger as Prokopenko shoots in.
Drugger moves into range and connects with a jab.

Prokopenko is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prokopenko bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Drugger comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Prokopenko falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Prokopenko was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abel Drugger!
