The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nastula is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bigg's half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Bigg's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Bigg regains full guard. Nicely done.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nastula working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bigg is on top in guard.

Bigg is nestled in close to Nastula, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bigg perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Bigg is trying for a kimura here. Nastula looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bigg wins by kimura!
