Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ulatov (ranked 1759 p4p, 1024 weight class) and Rebel Smith (ranked 214 p4p, 141 weight class). Rebel Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulatov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ulatov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith swings for the body but Ulatov moves out of range.
Smith cracks Ulatov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ulatov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Smith pushes Ulatov off and gets back to his feet.
Ulatov moves forwards but Smith connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ulatov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Smith throws out a loose jab but Ulatov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ulatov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smith to score with a decent uppercut.

Smith throws a hook to the side of Ulatov's head but Ulatov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've been hearing good reports from Ulatov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Ulatov tries to advance to mount but Smith denies him.
Smith is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ulatov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Ulatov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ulatov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Smith on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ulatov or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith, which made it look bad.
Smith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Ulatov closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Ulatov pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oh Ulatov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ulatov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Ulatov closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Ulatov pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith lands a big right hook! Ulatov looks hurt but is still standing! Smith lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Ulatov falls down and Smith dives in with a huge hammer fist! Ulatov's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Smith runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Rebel Smith really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that FEEBLE FIGHTWEAR logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
