The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zurauskas throws a body shot but no joy.
Shavers wants to counter with a clinch but Zurauskas pushes him away.
Shavers tries to land a leg kick but Zurauskas saw it coming and moves away.
Zurauskas was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shavers misses with an uppercut.
A little feinted left hand from Zurauskas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Zurauskas.

Zurauskas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Shavers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zurauskas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shavers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zurauskas's head.

Shavers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

It looks like Earnie Shavers has been cut.

Zurauskas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Shavers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zurauskas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zurauskas is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shavers is trying to escape and Zurauskas transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shavers is forced to tap! Nice work there by Zurauskas! Very nice indeed!
