Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Abramovich (ranked 5567 p4p, 3974 weight class) and Bucky Barnes (ranked 592 p4p, 492 weight class). Bucky Barnes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Abramovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bucky Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes just misses with a punch to the body.
Barnes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Roman Abramovich has been cut.
Barnes loads up on a big right hand but Abramovich slips the punch.
Barnes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abramovich stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Abramovich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barnes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abramovich somewhat.
Good exchange - Barnes coming out on top.
Barnes throws a hook but Abramovich avoids it easily.
Abramovich avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Abramovich.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abramovich postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Abramovich lands a decent elbow from side control.

Abramovich tries to score with some ground and pound. Barnes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Abramovich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Barnes is looking to reverse the position.
Abramovich postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Abramovich is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barnes has escaped the position, nice work there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Abramovich is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Barnes is trying to get back to half guard.
Barnes is not content to let Abramovich control the position.

Barnes tries to improve position but can't.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Barnes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Abramovich walks into a jab.

Barnes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Barnes thuds a left hand into Abramovich's body.
Barnes throws out a loose jab but Abramovich uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Barnes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Abramovich doesn't seem phased though.
Barnes throws the left hand but Abramovich avoids the punch easily.
Abramovich attempts a counter takedown but Barnes avoids it well and moves away.
Barnes lands a jab to the nose.
Nice takedown defense from Barnes. No joy for Abramovich on that attempt.
Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Abramovich is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Abramovich gets the takedown into side control.
Barnes pushes Abramovich away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Abramovich gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Barnes is trying to control Abramovich's posture but Abramovich avoids it.
Abramovich trying to control the action but Barnes is working from the bottom.
Barnes is trying to improve his position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bucky Barnes dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Roman Abramovich's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Abramovich shoots in but Barnes avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Barnes lands a big uppercut and Abramovich crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Abramovich looks OK. Barnes waves Abramovich back to his feet!

Abramovich is rocked!
Roman Abramovich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Barnes drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Abramovich's head, knocking him out cold! Barnes is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bucky Barnes!
Bucky Barnes was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
