The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Puno scores with a nice right hand.
Mumu misses with the body kick
and Puno counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mumu throws an off balance right hand
and Puno counters with a left to the body.
Mumu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Jeronimo Puno has been cut.
Mumu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mumu tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Puno counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Puno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It looked like Mumu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Puno.

Mumu lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Puno throws a series of punches but Mumu moves out of range.
Mumu loads up on a big right hand but Puno slips the punch.
Puno throws a fast counter high kick but Mumu manages to duck under it in time.
Mumu misses with an uppercut
and Puno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mumu lands with a nice body punch.

Puno misses with a low kick as Mumu jumps back.

Mumu closes the distance and clinches.
Mumu tries to throw a body punch but Puno avoids it by throwing Mumu back against the cage.

Mumu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Puno's elbow.
Puno lands a nice shot to the body.
Mumu misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Puno.

Puno digs a right hand underneath Mumu's ribcage. Mumu let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Puno tries to work over Mumu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Puno lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Puno drops Mumu onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Mumu is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Puno stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Oh Mumu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Puno lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Mumu to his knees! Puno keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
