Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Otto Scheckter (ranked 3896 p4p, 5905 weight class) and Moe Kolohe (ranked 0 p4p, 577 weight class). The key to victory for Otto Scheckter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Scheckter.
Kolohe closes the distance and clinches up with Scheckter, looking for a takedown. Kolohe pushes Scheckter against the cage but Scheckter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Scheckter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Scheckter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kolohe has time to react.

Kolohe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scheckter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kolohe somewhat.

Scheckter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kolohe's head backwards.

Scheckter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Scheckter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Scheckter cracks Kolohe with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kolohe tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Scheckter pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kolohe is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otto Scheckter!
Otto Scheckter decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
