The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson moves out of range as Brown strikes.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Brown keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
A thudding body kick lands there by Jackson!
Jackson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Devin Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
Brown throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson tries to counter with a takedown but Brown is quick to defend against it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jackson.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jackson. That's going to slow Brown down.
Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Brown tries to move into range but Jackson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jackson connects with a nice looking jab.
Brown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brown catches Jackson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Brown bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A low kick from Brown misses

and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jackson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Brown is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.
Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jackson pushes down on Brown's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson prevents Brown from standing back up.
Jackson working over Brown with some ground and pound. Brown looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Brown pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Brown's head.

Brown is rocked!
Jackson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him?
Brown is in trouble now - Jackson has advanced to mount!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Jackson! Brown is hurt baaadly! Jackson is firing away with more strikes - Brown is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Nick Jackson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
